No Glen Eden Mall meeting as such. Make your own way to the Glen Eden Train Station or join at another station enroute that might suit you better.
The last time we did the Waiheke Coast to Coast tramp was February 3rd 2020. I can remember we were discussing the developing news coming out of China (Coronavirus) Who would have thought that in a few weeks the country would be in a nationwide lockdown. Our journey will begin on the 7.36am train from Glen Eden train station. (Last carriage) arriving downtown at 8.18 am in time to get the 9 am ferry. Please let the leader know if you wish to meet at the ferry terminal. On arrival at Waiheke, we will board a bus to Rocky Bay, where our tramp will begin. We will make our way down through Whakanewa Regional Park, and then head north across the island to Onetangi. There will be time for a swim, and refreshments here, before getting the bus back to Matiatia and the ferry back to town. The approximate duration of the tramp 3 hours plus travel.
