Meet near 28 Wautaiti Road, Riverhead for a 9.00 start.

Note: No Glen Eden meeting.
We will explore some of the Riverhead forest.   There will be a mix of gravel forest tracks and off road tracks, with views out to the City and Muriwai hills. Some tracks might be a bit wet and slippery, so bring suitable footwear and poles if you have them.

An option exists to swing by the historic Riverhead Hotel afterwards which is full of local history of the gum diggers and adjacent river activities. Oh and they happen to also sell beer – how convenient. Reading up on local history is thirsty work!
