Beachlands Motukaraka Walk Walking

Grade: Easy

Time: 3-4 hours

Meet at Glen Eden or at 9.45am at corner Puriri Road and Hawke Crescent, Beachlands.

The island is accessible at low tide via a sandbar three hours either side of low tide.  On 19 July it is at 11.50am. The island can be walked around and climbed up onto. There is a shipwreck, a shag colony and sandstone cliffs.

Then we will go to the nearby Omana Regional park.

Non members must contact the Leader before trips to ensure suitability.
