Meet Glen Eden at 8.30 to carpool or meet at Mahurangi West Regional Park car park at 9.30am. (If going direct please advise leader in advance).
Grade Medium, time 4 1/2 to 51/2 hrs including breaks. Starting from Sullivan’s Bay Mahurangi West we will take in a some of the attractions of Mahurangi West Regional Park until the tide is low enough for us to cross the Te Muri Stream estuary to explore some of Te Muri Regional Park. Exact route to be confirmed at this stage, but will include hills, beaches and possibly some coastal foreshore walking. Great views and good beaches. Suggest taking a small towel to dry your feet after crossing the estuary if you wish to avoid wet boots from crossing with your boots on.
