Highbrook Path (9km ) and Highbrooke South Path ( 5km)
Tucked away behind the Highbrook Business Park, you’ll find a scenic gravel path that winds around the edge of the Tamaki River. I walk the club has not done to the best of my knowledge.
Enjoy great views across to Maungarei (Mount Wellington) and Maungakiekie (One Tree Hill). There are plenty of spots (including seating areas) along the way to catch your breath and admire the view.
The path is generally even and flat, with a couple of dips in the path.
This is approximate 4 hrs walk total .
Meet 9:30AM at end of Waiouru Road , East Tamaki ( next to the Ryman Healthcare head office ) .
or at Angelina house (115 Lynbrooke Avenue, BHB) leaving at 8:30AM .
Parking is available on surrounding streets.
