Leader will already be on Waiheke so will meet trampers at Matiatia Wharf.

Recommend that walkers catch either the 9.00am Fullers Ferry OR the 9.15am Island Direct Ferry from Auckland City to Waiheke.
This walk enables you to take in as much of the island as possible without venturing too far from the ferry and Oneroa Village. The walk is advertised as 9km but these days is a little less, thanks to erosion and slips requiring some detours.
Expect 2-3 hours of walking.
All going well we will be in good time to get the 2pm Fullers boat back to the city.
