Muriwai dinner and sunset

Many, many moons ago a Tramping Club member (Val E) used to arrange for everyone to go to Muriwai and have fish and chips for dinner, then go for a little walk around Muriwai, look at the gannets and then watch the sunset.

Everyone is welcome to come along this Friday to resurrect Val’s Muriwai tradition.

Unfortunately, the fish and chip shop at Muriwai is closed now and you will need to collect your take-aways at Waimauku or bring your own dinner with you from home.

Meet at the Maori Bay carpark near the Gannet Colony at about 6.30pm.
