It has been a while since we did some tree planting. The Omana Regional Park is holding a tree planting day at this time. The planting starts at 10.00am and runs till 1.00pm and is usually followed by a sausage sizzle. The directions to the planting site are usually at the entrance to the park.
Omana is 51km from Glen Eden and one approximately one hour’s journey. The park entrance is about 1km before Maraetai.
If anyone is available to coordinate the Glen Eden car pooling, please advise the leáder.
