IDEAL INTRODUCTORY TRIP
A little bit of lots of things.
Pohutukawa beach, bush, rocky foreshore, estuary, streamside, wetland, some road and some history. All on a mixture of ; 1st class track, very rough track, sandy beach walking, rock hopping, road walking. Taking in most of Cornwallis peninsula and Kakamatua Inlet.
Approximately 4 hours including lunch stop.
Grade – Easy
If not intending to meet at Glen Eden, you can meet us at the Cornwallis Overflow Car Park by 9am
(Just keep driving past the beach car park 100 – 200 m up hill to overflow carpark.)
