Here is a day with a difference! If you have not been to the zoo in a while you are likely to be pleasantly surprised by the changes over the years. Bring yourself up to date with all the goings on here.
Meet at Seddon Fields Car Park on Meola Rd.
We will be catching the Outer Link bus to Mt Albert shops (so don’t be late – and don’t forget your HOP card!).
From there, we will climb Mt Albert for great views over the city, then make our way via Fowlds Park and Western Springs to the zoo where we will have lunch, returning to our cars via Jaggers Bush back to Meola Road.
Zoo entry fee: $24 or $19 if over 65.
ID to prove you are a NZ resident might be required, otherwise the international visitor rate could apply.
The zoo entry fee will be subsidized by $10 a head by the club! So do not pre purchase your ticket online.
Anyone just wanting to visit the zoo is welcome and should meet at Fukuoka Garden next to the zoo at 11am.
