This tramp was planned for the 13 th of February. For those of you that did not catch up with the newsletters, it did not go ahead due to extremely bad weather on the day. Nobody turned up, so I will give it another go.
Join the leader at the Glen Eden Train Station (not the Post Shop), in time to catch the 8.36am train. We will sit in the last carriage, so anyone wanting to join us along the way will know were to find us. This train arrives at Britomart at
9.18am in plenty of time to board the 10am ferry to Waiheke. Coffee anyone?
On arrival at Matiatia, we will walk the northwest corner of the island, ending up in Oneroa, where we will either walk or get a bus back down to the ferry terminal. Duration of the walk estimate is approximately 3 hours plus travel time. Bring your swimwear and let’s do a midwinter swim if you are brave. Would be a first for the club on Waiheke.

(Don’t forget to bring your masks for public transport)
Costs: Use your HOP card for the train AND ferry as this is the cheapest way to travel – especially if you are one of Winnie’s friends (Gold Card holder !)
