Meet at Glen Eden at 8.30 or at the carpark next to the Kumeu Fire Station at 9.00.

Time: 4-5 hours
The walk is over a 900 acre farm with views to the east out to Auckland City and to the west to Muriwai and Bethells. (Bring your binoculars). The walk is slightly different to last year as the set of Lord of the Rings is based at the far end of the farm and there is security on site 24 hours a day.
Boots are recommended as there is a fair amount of mud, a hill to slither down in the bush and several streams to cross. There are many stands of mature bush with lots of kiekie and supplejack (as I found on my recce).
