We are a community of around 60 men and women of diverse backgrounds and ages who enjoy the natural environment of the great outdoors as a club.
Hollyford Track
We have a walk or tramp most Sundays – either in the Waitakere and Hunua Ranges or exploring the diversity of parks and coastlines in the Auckland region. In addition we occasionally travel further afield for a long weekend.
We have a regular club meeting where we usually enjoy a guest speaker or viewing photos of others tramping trips in NZ or overseas. Approximately every 8 weeks we hold a Social event. In the past we have enjoyed themed pot luck dinners, movies/theatre nights, bowling, night trots. Joining West Auckland District Tramping Club is not just about walking and tramping – it’s an opportunity to build fitness, meet new people, make new friends and get to know areas that you may never otherwise visit.
